My Holiday Highlight

In the Holidays my brother and I went to Taranga to see our Dad brothers and sisters. Then we went camping in our big tent it had three rooms. Then for lunch we had to take a table it was heavy. And for breakfast we had nutri grain. Have you ever been camping with your family

Then we went to go check out the place we went to the game room it cost money $2 a game we had no money. We went to the pools after the tent was put up. There was a big water slide there were to, one of them were slow, and the other one was fast. When I got down from the water and got into the the pool it was freezing cold water!!! After that I started to do bomes It was fun.

The next day we all went to mini golf I came last it was hard cause I had a big club and it was kinda heavy my brother lost his ball so he got a feijoa and used it as a ball it was funny he came 2nd place it was weird my other brother came 1st and my sister came 3rd that was our last day.

After that I felt like I wanted to go agen course it was so fun.

course I made new friends.

Term two Tinkering tools & toys

This term our topic is all about Technology We are trying to solve a problem that relates to our everyday life at school we are going to play 

school picnic

We had school picnic we went to pt england beach it was awesome. First I was on the park it was boring. So I went to go play soccer it was fun. Then I had a little snack then I went to the beach and played with clay with Kruiz Josh and Bailee I made a little mug Bailee a big one Josh made one too but someone stepped on his it was funny. Kruiz made a thing it was a friend he made it out of clay his name was Rocky I don’t know why?

then it was our turn to swim I liked it because we got to do jump of the rocks it was awesome. I went on twice then we had to get changed we had some food. and went back onto the beach to play with rocks cause I like skimming rocks me Kruiz Josh and Balee had a comp I came second place.

My favorite part was making clay with my friends and my brother. at the end of the day Balee’s mum got some donuts and orange juice then at the end of that we went home and gave my mug to my mum.

year 5 and 6 camp

In week six 2015 year 5 and 6 went on camp. My first activity was kayaking. It was my first time and the way we had to get in was foot bum foot. Have you gone kayaking before? After that we had morning tea. Then we practiced our dance, our song was good feeling.

Then our next activity was top town, it’s a challenge. We had to listen to the instructions first, there was a lot of information. Then we had to fill up the water bombs for our team it was fun. We had to run to the ski’s, there was six ropes on each ski. We had to do left right to get to the other side. The other obstacles were the slingshot, water fight  and the blue hill.

The next day we had to wake up at 6:50 am, then we done jump jam and had breakfast. Then our next activity was roller blading,table tennis and basketball it was fun. Then we had morning tea. My favorite part was the camp concert. Honest squad won, my team is allstars.

The next day we all had breakfast. Then we got to go to

MANGERE POOLS ALL DAY!!! I liked it because there was a water slide and a diving pool and a really deep pool it was fun.
