Positive Body Image :)

At the start of the year I had no idea what body image was. But over the past few weeks I learnt a lot about body image.

So body image is how people see you visually. For e.g if someone sees you in the streets and you may have a disability like you have a short leg they may judge you. But if you have a positive body image you wouldn't care what anyone says or thinks about you therefore you are happy and have a strong relationship with your body.

But if you have a negative body image you may harm yourself in multiple ways. If you are a little bigger than others and they bully you for being overweight. you might just starve yourself, or force yourself to go to the gym everyday even though you don't want to. A lot of people do these things just so they don't get judged by people.

People of all ages do this, it mostly happens at the age of thirteen. Personally i don't really care what others think therefore i have a positive body image and if you don't have a positive body image i suggest you do mostly so you don't waste your life caring about others opinion because the only opinion that should matter to you is your own ones. Don't care what others think and do what you want with your body.

Volcanic eruption

This Is A Model Of The Stages Of A Volcano That I made

Is it common for a volcano to erupt in New Zealand? Not really because the last time a volcano erupted in New Zealand was about 500 - 1000 years ago. the way a volcano erupts Volcanoes erupt when molten rock also known as (magma) rises to the surface. Magma is formed when the earth's mantle melts. If magma is thick gas bubbles cannot easily escape and pressure builds up as the magma rises. When the pressure is too much an explosive eruption can happen, which can be dangerous and destructive. and also there are about 17 volcanoes in New Zealand

And here are some New Zealand volcano facts One of the world’s largest explosions in the last 5,000 years happened when volcanic vents in the Taupō region erupted. The huge crater that was left filled with water and formed Lake Taupō. and also Tarawera, a volcano near Rotorua, erupted in 1886. It is thought that about 120 humans in New Zealand died. One more volcano fact about new zealand is Ruapehu is our largest active volcano. It erupted in 1995 and 1996 and again about 10 years later.

Volcanic Eruption Experiment

Today my class 9RKU did a volcanic eruption experiment with baking soda and vinegar and some food colouring so we put a accurate amount of vinegar in a measuring cylinder cylinder with a eye dropper and a small spoon of baking soda.

volcanic eruption
volcano's erupt from the magma gaining magma chambers and then the magma finds there though the vets in the walls of the volcano. when the magma reaches to the top of the volcano which causes an eruption.

expo work

Our group came up with an awesome experiment that includes a lighter and a spray, all you had to do was light the lighter and spray
the flame. And it makes a flamethrower
We had not that much ideas one of ours was setting our hand

on fire without it hurting , Making paper planes and showing force
and motion And Water.

Out of all of our ideas we narrowed it down to one idea

which was paper planes because it was easy to explain and make.
Unfortunately it was a fail because all the work we did was all

on Arthur’s chromebook and since he left the school, we had
nothing to present  and so we had to try figure

out another idea which was the paper planes. But then we

had nowhere to sit and present our work to everyone so
we didn’t get to finish it The Next Time we can’t do it again because we will be at college and we won't be able to do an expo again,
maybe we will do a expo at college if we go to the same collage, maybe.
